BIO 1040 Introduction to Biology II

This course continues an investigation into the principles of biological science. Topics covered include animal organization and diversity, microbial and plant biology, ecology, and the relationship of organisms to the environment. The relevance of biology to everyday life will be emphasized. This course is intended for non-science majors, and does not satisfy the general education laboratory science requirement for scientific awareness. PRE-REQUISITE(S): None, BIO1030 recommended
